DJM S9 Crossfader Issues - Not Cutting

Hi,

I'm having occasional issues with my DJM S9 where the crossfader stops working. I'm wondering if there is something I could have done instead of sending it in for repair because I'm having the same issue with the loaner that was given to me by the music store.
