Pre-fader Send Effects DJM V10

Hi, I am using a DJM V10 LF with CDJs and some external effects.

Loving the V10, apart from the fact that the sends are post-fader and there's no option to switch, as can be done on the Xone 96 and Model 1.

I'm guessing this was a very deliberate design choice, but with it being a digital mixer, can't think of a reason that there couldn't be the option added to change mode in the settings.

Would it be possible to include this in a firmware update?

Thanks - Mike

I would like to echo this request...or is there a workaround?

Yes this needs to be added so we can hear what we are mixing into the master.

interestingly, this works as expected when using multi I/O 1/4" patch cords
and setting Multi I/O to ch2/ch5 1/4" Regardless of the setting of the send knob on channel 5.

NOTE: kindly do NOT change this!

and, yes I agree with the above.
Send should be pre-fader on EXT1 & EXT2
In this manner you would never be forced to ALWAYS blend the source channel with A separate return FX channel using either EXT1 OR EXT2
OR At least an option in the set up menu for the V10 mixer - "SEND pre/post fader" option

Kindly make a consideration for this important request.

WELL DONE, FANTASTIC MIXER!

I have a workaround for this:

If you aren't using the second headphone output, you can use this as a secondary send, pre fader.

Note that you will no longer have relative control of the send level of different channels, and make sure you don't send the master...

Also, for the built-in sends, I have switched from routing my return lines to the dedicated return ports to instead routing them directly to a channel input. This way you can re-send the return signal, either to your secondary send or to the primary send again, achieving the positive feedback effect that is possible with something like the Model 1. Is not fool proof though - you have to be careful of your levels.
