Digital input from CDJ 3000s to S11
I've seen people using the S11 with CDJ3000s via the USB sockets on the back of the S11. My question is does this replace a digital coaxial option? So can I use software free this way? I sold my 2000s and hoping to replace with 3000s soon. I can't find the answer in the manual. also wondered if this option is just a HID option for controlling software on your laptop.

When the CDJs are plugged into the USB hub you can use them in HID mode with Rekordbox. Serato DJ isn't supported (yet).
