Djm-s11 Clipping

I've been having an issue with my s11. When i plug it in, it will start to clip and i get a hight pitch sound coming from the master. Headphones sound fine, but the master doesnt. No music, just the high pitch sound.  Sometimes it goes away if i connect to the USB port opposite from the power connection.
