Djm s11 with rane twelve mk2 (2020)

Hi I purchased the new DJM s11 and rane twelves mk2s but I am really disappointed that dispute the s11 mixer being able to use all serato decks (1,2 3 and 4) the rane twelve mk2 only recognise decks 1 and 2 for hands on control. Can you please provide update so that if I click deck 3 it will alow me to control deck 3 with the rane twelves mk2 and allow the volume to be controlled on the pioneer s11. It’s actually really bugging me that it’s not reviewed by anyone or readily known until you read the manual that this will not work. That would be a dream come true considering they cost me an absolute fortune

Hey Brendan,

Sorry, but the deck control on the Twelve is not related to the track the mixer is controlling. You'll have to contact Rane regarding having their device switch the function to manipulate the focussed deck.

Thanks, the problem isn’t with pioneer it’s with the rane twelve mk2 (2020) Has 4 decks function but because it’s a 2 channel mixer only gives 2 decks for hand on control, which is a major downer considering the 4 decks work with s11 . Thought it might be something that could be fixed

I.e this is technically a 4 channel mixer not a 2 channel mixer and possibly pioneer need to let rane know that so it recognises it as a 4 deck mixer ????
