Are the 1000's hooked up via Ethernet?

Xdj-XZ Sync settings
Just picked up the Xdj-XZ last week and have it connected to 2 Xdj-1000mk2's that I've had for years. When using a flash drive the decs on the XZ will only BPM Sync regardlessof which is the master dec, but 1000mk2's will Beat Sync to the master dec. I can't find any setting for the sync function on the XZ or info online. I don't think it was like this at first when I brought it home. I do go back and forth between playing off usbs and laptop with Rekordbox. I alway did try it with Serato a couple times in the last few days.

Yes. Both right to the back of the Xdj-XZ. Should also mention the quantize isn't working with it either. Even though it does say it's on

Figured it out out. I usually hit the 4 or 8 beat loop to start a track instead of the play button. I have 4 decs so I'm pretty much use loops all the time. When I'm playing music off a USB drive anytime I do that it will take that dec off of quantize. The light stays red and it shows quantize as being on in the display, but its not. Not an issue with the 1000mk2's or when I'm playing off rekordbox. I just sold my NX2 set and bought the XDJ-XZ. Never had an issue on there. I have to press the quantize button twice (turn the red light off and on again) to get quantize back on. Not the worse thing to happen, but it does cut into my work flow.
