Recording on the new MacBook Pro

Hello there, 

 I've got 3x CDJs and a DJM 2000Nexus, I want to record my mixes on my new MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016 edition.  can i do so by going from the output of my DJM to my Macbook's headphone jack? in other meaning using the headphone jack as AUX in? or do i need to buy an external sound card?

If you're going for quality, I would recommend an external sound card.  I believe the new MBP has no dedicated input, unlike it's predecessors, so if you're going to use the combo headphone/mic jack, you'll need to ensure you purchase the proper adapter (with 3 rings on it) like the one on the right.
