7+ minute song imports into rekorbox 2.0.2 as an 8 second song

Title says it all, I can email it to someone if it will help.

Also I randomly get songs, that for some stranger reason, play as a different song entirely, so I reload the tag and it comes up as the correct song, but then I have two of the same, and have to go re-import the now missing one, this happens several times a week.

I just used audacity to load it and saved it as a wav (Originally an mp3), and on import it was the correct length, still if someone wants to take a look.

@Tony > Can you send me the file please - perhaps a DropBox link might work best? - as the engineers want to investigate the file.

That link does not seem to work, hmm, can I send you a private message or email with the link?

it's a corrupt file, I ran it through mp3 scan and repair and it said there was garbage at the end of track, clicked rebuild then reimported into rb and it's fine now

Yeah, I checked it too - there's corrupt data contained within the track file. Download Scan+Repair to fix it.

Or, Gavin, Can the engineers figure out even with some garbage how to handle this track to either warn the user or bypass the garbage and play it being iTunes, Serato, and traktor all play the file fine and it's only RB that fails to handle this?

Yeah, that's the plan. I guess this bounces back to the need for multicore support too so the files can be analysed on import.
