@Matthew > Won't work how? Won't respond in the software? If so, what software? Are you using VDJ, that came with the controller or some other piece of software? Do you think the unit is damaged?
I am having a similar issue, except for me it is the right jog wheel. Let me try and give everyone a more detailed description. At least in my case, the VirtualDJ software that is included with the DDJ-WEGO box responds to everything on the controller perfectly fine. The only issue is that my right jog wheel's spinning action is not picked up by the software. Whatever touch sensing mechanism that is located on the top surface of each jog wheel picks up my touch perfectly (I can stop a track that is playing on Deck B and D by touching the top of the jog wheel). The problem is when I try to spin the jog wheel from there, VirtualDJ does not respond to the spinning. This occurs when I try to create the scratching effect and when I try to adjust any of FX1, FX2, or FX3. My other jogwheel does the spinning action perfectly for both scratching and effect adjustments. If it means anything, the lights for both jog wheels are working as they are supposed to. I have already updated the firmware, adjust the jog wheel sensitivity (to which it only affected the left jog wheel), and installing the necessary drivers as instructed on other articles and forums. Additionally, I bought the product a couple days ago and the right jog wheel has not been fully operational since I opened it. Is there any other fixes I can try before returning the product?
Just wondering if there has been an answer for this as I'm getting the exact problems with my left jog wheel...i'm still under warranty so I'm keen to return my ddj wego for another one there hasn't been a fix.
