CDJ 2000 Jog Wheels & Play Button Green Ring

Two questions

  1. Playing around with the decks earlier I noticed that one of the jog wheels feels a little stiffer than normal. The spinning feel of it compared to the other deck feels heavy and odd. Both are set on the same jog adjust level as normal. Has something possibly gone wrong inside the machine?

  2. One of the green rings that sits around the play button has stopped lighting up/flashing - what could cause this - bulb gone?

If anyone could shed some light on the above then that would be great.

  1. probably mechanical issue, I would have it serviced

  2. LED is shot, Had the same issue and replaced the LED's

I had the same issue with my decks.... Had to replace the play led on both decks..

Lucky for me , I still had warranty
