[Solved] Convert FLAC to AIFF or WAV when Exporting to USB

My music collection has a lot of FLAC Files with accurate tags. It would be nice if I could use this files on CDJs. Because this is not possible atm, it would be a nice feature to automatically convert FLAC to AIFF when exporting to USB (of course with all tag information, cue points and the beatgrid.)

A FLAC / ALAC to AIFF on the fly converter (or to MP3 / AAC lower bitrate if needed) while exporting would be massively welcomed.

My music collection is mostly in AIFF format and convert everything into ALAC would free something around 300gb of space in my hard drive.

I'll +1 this too.

I didn't realise cdjs couldn't play flac! All my files are flac, so everything needs converting 😢

Just noticed this is marked as solved, does this mean rb should now do this?

Went to play out last night and they only had the cdj nexus 😢

This still seems to be an issue, are cue points stored in an XML file? or is the xml file just for mapping between cue points on the database and the audio files?

@Emmett > Cue points are stored in a small data file for each song. The XML file is only used to export data for use with other applications / import from other applications.
