XDJRX waveform speed

If I have two tracks that have different bpms and I use the tempo slider to match them, one beat grid moves faster than the other on the screen. Any way I can get them to match?

The technical answer is without SYNC enabled, there is no target for the waveform to stretch TO, so unfortunately the waveform simply moves relative to the speed of the pitch change.

Short answer = No

There's many people hoping they will change this, but Pioneer has actually said that it will not happen because it can't be done with this hardware......... Booooooo

Increasing the bpm should make the waveforms scroll faster, no?

so if i match the bpms why do they move at different speeds?

Because one of them is now moving at a % faster or slower than the other -- they meet at the middle and that's the point that counts.

Is this the reason the large scrolling waveform is out of sync with the small one at the bottom of the screen?

I have noticed that when I tempo match tracks, the large scrolling waveform will come to an end however the small one at the bottom of the screen has the marker in the middle (or somewhere other than the end). This can be a bit of an issue if you glance at the screen and don't take it in to account. :)

Sorry for thread crashing if it's not the same issue.

No worries, the thread is a year old. ;)

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the waveforms being "out of sync" ?? Can you post a video of photo showing the issue?
