I can tell the difference between Slip roll and Roll, but to me, Slip Loop and Roll do the exact same thing. I love the effect and (over)use it during sets but was curious if anyone (@pulse) had any idea how these differ?

Roll samples the audio when you first engage it and keeps that sample no matter what, but the Slip Roll re-samples the audio every time you change the timing parameter.
