Stuck in needle drop

So I recently bought a pair of xdi-1000's. they've worked like a charm for the past month. I bring them to a friends house and multiple dj's played on them. Now, I can't browse through the waveforms on the touch screen and it says needle lock. Also, I can't use my hot cues and it needle lock keeps coming up. The only way to fix this is by playing a song and then I can pause and browse. But once I set a cue, needle lock is back. Could someone have possibly changed a setting?

@Dennis > If the needle lock is enabled, then you would not be able to use that portion of the touch-screen while the deck is playing, only when it's paused, cued, or you have your hand on the jog while in vinyl mode. Are any of those conditions true when you're trying to use the needle lock?

Yes those conditions are true. But it's weird because when I pulled them out of the box and started playing with them, I would load songs and they would automatically play, I could hit the hot cue button even if it was paused and it would play instantly. Now I have to hit play before I can do anything. I actually like it this way now, I just want to know if there's a setting that someone enabled w/o me knowing.

Possibly the Auto Cue? Press and hold the TIME button to switch this on and off.
