No LINK icon on Recordbox DJ 4.1.2

Really frustrated, have paid for full license, however there is no LINK button at the bottom of the software.  My old PC still has recordbox on there and it is working fine, so it is not my XDJ-RX?  Seems it is missing from the software?  Please help!

You will only see the LINK button when you are in EXPORT mode.

In recordbox DJ it says that Performance is available for the XDJ-RX, however when switching from Export it disengages ...

Performance IS available.  But you do not use LINK (ethernet cable) for Performance.  You use MIDI (USB cable).
