Cant record cuz XDJ RX says USB full when its not.

I'm having this problem while trying to record a mix, it says on the screen that my USB is full when its clearly not. when I have the USB in a PC it says it has 20gb of space. in the XDJ RX says its full.. any1 know what it could be? help please !! :)

What is the format of the drive? FAT32 / HFS+ ...?

There's probably some files hidden from view on the drive. 

Try plugging the drive into your computer then emptying the trash. I've had issues with this before and doing that cleared it.

Try re-formatting, this can never do any harm if you want to be sure it's empty.

Also, plug your USB back in your computer then delete the 'trash bin'.

@Steve Marx presents a good point -- whether you have a Mac or PC, just because you've deleted the files doesn't mean the space is free, you need to actually empty the trash or recycling bin in order to liberate that drive space for use.
