searching

If I want to put my entire ITunes library of songs on an external harddrive am I able to search for a track with my CDJ2000nxs? I obviously can search for tracks w/ rekordbox playlists but I cant seem to search this harddrive that just has all my tracks loaded on it

Are you asking about putting the source on the external drive, or exporting all of your music to that drive?

I exported all my music onto an external drive. Basically took my ITunes folder and copied it. I can see all the folders on the CDJ but I can't seem to search

You would need to have all that music imported into rekordbox, then exported to that same drive (don't worry, it doesn't duplicate the music) in order for it to be indexed and searchable.
