Release effects mapping? CDJ-2000nxs2

Is there a way to trigger rekordbox's release effects from a CDJ-2000nxs2? I have a djm-900nxs2 with cdj-2000nxs2 setup. From what I understand, you cannot map the mixer, but is it possible to map an unused button on cdj (i.e. rev button)?

You certainly CAN map the mixer! It's a MIDI device! I'd suggest the LINK CUE button.

Thank you, are you suggesting to use one of the hot cue buttons for mapping the release effects?

No -- not the CDJ's buttons, map one of the controls off the DJM.
