XDJ 1000 MK2 firmware update

I have tried everything and still can not get my brand new xdj 1000's to update firmware. I have used multiple USB's, formatted them to FAT32, unzipped the file. My players just won't recognize the USB. Im stuck on the "Connect USB storage screen". What am I doing wrong?

You may have formatted the drive to FAT32, but did you make sure the drive itself is set to  MASTER BOOT RECORD and not GUID mode?

I have set to MBR and still no response from my players. This shouldn't be so difficult.

Did you possibly download the file using Safari? It can corrupt the firmware file; please try using another browser.
