License key

Hi, I just purchased a DDJ-400 ON EBAY , the seller sent me everything in the box including the license key card , but when I tried to that key it says it is being used. The seller claims he didn't try to Register the product at all and this doesn't make any sense. He is willing to help me get it back but he doesn't know what to do. I can barely wait to start using that controller... please help

@Leo > The previous owner simply needs to deactivate the license from his installation, but if he has not, then it won't be available for you to activate. If you are still having problems after he has deactivated it, he will need to file a support ticket here, where our license team can force the deactivation - but he will need to request it, we can't do it for you simply because you have the license key, the request has to be made by the original owner.

hello guys,

I have the DDJ-RB, but I have never used the recordbox. I have also lost the license key, so I can not activated it. I have the appropriate serial numbers of DDJ-RB. Could you please help me to find another way to activated???

@Teo > If you file an inquiry ticket here, include a copy of your purchase receipt and a photo of the serial number from the back of the unit, and our support team will assist you in resolving this issue.
