Sounds to me like the unit is having problems reading from the USB drive(s). What's the make/model of the drives you're using?

XDJ-RX2 Frozen
Hi there,
When i use my XDJ-RX2 in stand alone mode and use both usb ports with 2 different thumb drives, the unit freezes while the music is playing when i try playing music from the other thumb drive. It has happened twice at gigs. I tried stopping the usb and it doesn't work, it keeps playing music but it freezes and there is no way to stop the USB. I even powered it off and the unit stays on. Had to unplug the power cord and restart the unit. Is there a reason for this? The unit is updated. Thanks!

What version of firmware do you use?
I had some issues before, non after i updated to 1.35 and change my usb flash memory
Some sticks have issues with connection, so if i nudge or jolted them they would loose connection.
Now i have Usb sticks only as backups, mostly run SSDs
