Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not convinced that soft bag would do any more than keep the dust off the unit. At 13kg if it were to fall or roll around the back of a van, that bag won't offer much protection.

Plus seems to have pockets for headphones etc

Made my fly case in about 90€. Got it to weight under 8kg. Checked udg bag and allmost bought it, but decided to go with fly case. Now there are a lot of those but when I started to build my own there was only one for over 200€.

Has anyone used a Decksaver with the UDG extra large bag and does it fit?

Odyssey gear makes two bags with nearly the same dimensions as the UDG Gear.
