WHY DOES MY SIGNAL DROP WHEN I MUTE OTHER CHANNELS

why does my signal considerably drop when i mute all other channels on my DJS 1000 except for the one i want to record out.

Can you explain what you mean by "mute"?

If you have two channels playing simultaneously, their total level will be greater than just if you had a single channel playing... so if I understand you correctly, you're saying the master volume is doing exactly what it's supposed to.
