Sorry guys, this functionality is the same for all hardware; when in stand-alone mode, the hot cues are "press and play," there is no option to use it as a gated hot cue as when using it with rekordbox as a controller.

do you mean it's doing the stuttering thing when you pause? If so it's likely you have "Vinyl Mode" selected

No i mean when i press hotcue pads the songs start to play even when i release my finger from the pad it keeps playing.

XDJ-RZ is a mistake in the description of XDJ-XZ.
Could we not get this in a firmware update to CDJ's and XDJ's. It seems like a pretty primitive and wanted setting that is on EVERY other platform or at least to my knowledge. I'm recently trying to move to a pioneer set up and this is incredibly jarring :|

Unfortunately this is not something that will change in the current hardware through a firmware update, sorry.
This makes me sad :(
Just to have as a setting instead of having to put memory cues on top of hot cues.
