Try disabling the preview column and tell me if that improves it.

Rekordbox freezes when selecting songs
Hi guys. This problem has me scratching my head for weeks. Ever since I moved my library to my new Macbook (MacOS Catalina 10.15) the library has been working less than ideal:
All files and the database have been moved successfully, but somehow the library function works incredibly slow. When I scroll down my library and select almost any track, the whole software freezes.
The thing is: it does this only sometimes. Some tracks generate freezing 100% of the time, others only sometimes. However, it's unclear what separates them. On my previous laptop, this was not an issue.
It's not a matter of OS or software updates - or available space.
Any suggestions and tips are welcome :)

This is happening to me as well, just bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360 12 gen i7 16gb RAM 512gb ssd.
Turned of preview and artwork, still have the same issues.
Computer is in best performance mode.
Not sure what else I can do, virtual dj works flawlessly but isn't fully compatible with my pioneer controllers.
I run my music off of a SanDisk 2tb ssd 1000mbs ...
