Interface 2 combined with preamps

Hi, 

From a few threads of this forum I conclude that the preamps from the Pioneer Interface 2 are not very good and that this makes the sound quality in through mode muffled.

I was wondering if it is an option to bypass this problem by using a pair of external phono preamps and switching the interface to LINE mode? In that set up, would DVS still function properly and would the THROUGH-mode still work?

Does the same apply when using a DJM 250 MK2 or another DVS compatible DJM mixer?

Yes, you could get the DVS signal into rekordbox as a line input.
