CDJ 3000 File Size Via The Link

Hi

Please can anyone tell me what the maximum file size is that will work via the link between two CDJ 3000.

I asked Pioneer and they said no size but a max time of 1000 minutes, that can not be right there must be a max file size of some sort.

I don't have the details, but the max would be more to do with the player's ability to buffer the track than the link itself. Given that the link can handle 6x streams of 24bit/96kHz uncompressed audio, I don't think there's a problem for most songs you'd want to play.

Is that being used for anything?

Correction; 96kHz, not 192 - I was thinking rekordbox. ;)

Technically speaking, because it's gigabit, it could actually handle MUCH more, but a DJ could theoretically play on 6 linked CDJ-3000's to have that data flowing.
