Pad editor no longer accessible, PAD is greyed out (DDJ-RX controller)

Until quite recently I used to be open the pad editor and adjust what the pads do on my DDJ-RX controller. Now for some reason my settings have disappeared and I can no longer open the pad editor - the PAD option is greyed out and can't be selected.

Anyone know what might be going on here?

Which version of rekordbox and which firmware on the RX?

Version 6.5.1 of rekordbox. Not sure about firmware - is there a way to check?
