XDJ-RX2 Failure / Freeze in the middle of the song, no sound

Are you able to repeat it with the same track / USB drive every time?

This happened to me last night! please see the video below, i had a track playing on deck 2, tried to load a track on deck 1 but i had left the old track playing so it gave me a warning, i then paused deck 1 and loaded the new track onto it but when i did that it paused deck 2 and wouldn't let me play again i even loaded a new track and it wouldn't play. had to reboot.

 Ross Clement : it happened to you when you played only from USB Stick , right ?

Pulse : yes, i'm tried a day after with the same usb stick, same tracks and etc. , but nothing happened , all was working fine without any freezes !

strange thing, need to know where is the problem.

It happened to me once again, when I play only midi . The controller was frozen until I switch it off, and the xdj-rx2 screen was powered when controller was switched off!! It just gone, when I powered it On! Please help, can’t work with him .

Happens to me every time I use it upon first boot up. It might take 5 mins it might take an hour but either way, short high pitch beep sound goes dead and controller becomes frozen. Has to be turned off and on to fix.

I'm returning it because of it now. It cannot be trusted in a professional environment. The store I purchased it from is having it collected and refunding me. Their words was "You're not the only customer to bring up this issue and several units sold have been returned because of it."

KC1 : with a USB Key or midi ? when it happened ?

Both midi and usb.

I've also had other issues with it when connecting the DDJ-XP1 add on controller.

I'm very frustrated with the XDJ RX2 and I'm going back to a DDJ setup. 

Too many bugs.

Sorry, there is some confusion here... Please don't reply "USB" as that is too ambiguous. Use either USB DRIVE or USB HID as clarification.

Same happend to me last night twice in midi mode
Need it to be fixed... new gig on monday

I`m too in the user list with this problem.  

It occurs ~after 5 hr of using it.

I really can`t test it at home like on event.

Just moved to another new one controller from the Showroom, and all was excellent !
