DJM-850 USB Port Stopped Working?

Recently bought a near mint condition used DJM 850 mixer, and for 2 weeks everything was great- using the mixer with serato via USB, Sound card showing up no problem. Then, I allowed the mixer to go into "sleep" mode for the first time, when I woke it up, since then, the USB is not working any more. Tried multiple USB cables, and multiple laptops. How could this be? I don't take it outside the studio so it hasn't even physically moved. Reinstalled drivers on multiple laptops, still nothing. OSX Laptops one is 10.8.5 other is 10.9.5

Help!!! lol

@Matt > Sorry to hear about that - can you try and see if it will accept a firmware update? Instructions are here, the download file is here.

it is not connecting to computer at all, so no it will not accept.

So even forcing the mixer to update mode, it's not communicating.

@pulse correct, its not showing up as anything being connected to the usb port on the computers
