RB3 & multi-core

Does anyone know how many cores RB3 runs on?

Also, is anyone using RB3 on OS X Yosemite? How does it perform?

RB runs on however many cores you have for the most part, i know I have an i5 processor and RB can analyze 4 tracks at a time, i7 8 tracks at a time I believe.

when RB is just running normal though during a gig or to export it probably only uses 1

What are your impressions of 3.0.2, BriChi?  I've been on holiday and not had a chance to test it out

3.0.2 is a great update, Fixed a lot of minor issues I saw so i love it, It still needs some improvement though all around which I am sure the engineers are working on.  I just hope they get it to run smooth on 10.10 soon, I really don't want to have to go back to 10.9

BriChi,

What problems are you facing with Yosemite?

I'm soon to switch from PC to Mac so I'll have no choice.

I see. Hopefully I won't run into any problems in that case. I would love Pioneer to release a new version though to fully support Yosemite.

As of rekordbox 3, there is multi-core optimized analysis! If you find that it's only doing one track at a time, go into Preferences > Analysis and change the Concurrent Process Mode to Performance. Have not updated yet to OS X Yosemite, but will report back on it and if issues are there will make sure they are noted for Japan.

Like when you analyze and a track in traktor or serato they give you a value from 70-100 and etc. I have salsa tracks and they give me like 154 bpm which that's not the value of the bpm should be like 77 or so

Or is there any short cut to fix right bpm on RB 3? Thanks jay

There are songs that will register a 1/2 bpm number because of the way the kick is (Hey Yeah is 160 but reads 80...etc) You could change it manually or know that it's half.  Have you tried using Dynamic mode when analyzing, this might work to adjust the number to it's whole postion and not half.
