Is it possible to turn off waveform display?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to use the CDJ 2000 Nexus without having the waveform display always showing up, even if you have analysed your tracks in Rekordbox, sometimes it's nice to just play by ear and not be distracted by your eyes.  It's nice to have sometimes but I'd like to know if it's possible to switch the feature on and off easily.

And what about the waveform display that shows the entire track? Can you switch that off too?

@Brian > Why would you want to turn it off, out of curiosity?

Maybe because he prefers to see tracks infos + COVER ART onscreen ... Instead of a big moving waveform + a (useless then) small waveform ...

If i had 2000nxs, i would also prefer this ...

I'd be happy if we could choose how to organise our cdj2000 screens with options on/off via RB (saved when exported)

I agree 100%, one thing that annoys the hell out of me on the nexus is they force an album art column on you when scrolling through playlists but I dont have any album art so the space is wasted when it can be used for more useful info like the whole track name or artist

@ Gavin > I've been a musician for almost ten years, I usually prefer to rely on my ears rather than my eyes.

ive been dj'ing for 25 and the waves dont bother me, i just dont look at them :)       as a matter of fact I prefer them for a  new track i may grab and am not 100% familiar with on where dropouts may occur and build so the waves help a lot in that way,

@Brian > Cool, thanks. As part of product development, I like to find out what feature people do and don't like and how we can improve so I was interested to hear your feedback.

I've made the suggestion above losing the Album Art space and filling it with something else. Ads maybe ;)

@Painless Wolf > You'll have to ask Mitt about that.
