Link CDJ 2000 with 2000 NXS?

I have one CDJ 2000 and one 2000 NXS. Both have most updated firmware, respectively. Should the Ethernet link feature work between these two players? No router or other players, just direct link?

Yeah, of course I have. Mine doesn't work. I'm trying to narrow in on the problem, which i think is the Link port on the regular 2000.

1st thing is try another cable. If that don't work then you probably have a bad port on 1 of the players... If I had to guess.

Swap the cable, ensure the players have unique numbers, if that doesn't work, check that the pins in the jacks are straight.
