Dear Pioneer DJ users
I've been using traktor pro for serveral years, but some times when i'm out there is Cdj 2000 nexus which i can freely use so i use them to practice a bit before swithing to my own gear.
I recently bought a new laptop and i backed up the old rekordbox libary and analyzed tracks i think it was vers. 3. something.
And when i installed rekordbox on my new laptop it was v. 4 64 bit rekordbox for windows.
I'm soon upgrading my ssd inside my laptop so i would like to now how i safely backup all my analyzed tracks to my external hdd and will be able to restore the tracks again.
Because i hope i can avoid analyzing all 3000 tracks again. It often causes my CPU to spin a lot and gets much hotter then normal.
And my laptop is new and im running skylake i5 on it.
I had the same issues on my old laptop which was running i3 2nd generation intel processor.
So my question is how do i backup my analzyed tracks inside rekordbox and will be able to restore them once i've upgraded my laptop with a larger ssd.
Last time i tried from rekordbox v. 3. something to rekordbox 4. something and it said that 'file was corrupted' or that the data hadn't been restored correctly

So if i follow "I bought a new computer. Can I move the rekordbox database and preferences to the new computer? "
I would hopefully be able to safely backup my anazlyed tracks and after formatting my pc i should be able to restore without any issues.
