Pioneer SP 16 & DDJ RZ

Hi,

I have been looking at the pioneer SP 16 sampler, and frankly I am astounded at what you can achieve with this piece of kit. Is it compatible with the DDJ RZ? Could I play it through one of the spare channels on the mixer on this unit, and would it sync up the same way as it does with a CDJ set up?

You could route the sound output of the SP16 into one of the channels of your RZ but you would not have sync capabilities.

From what I've read, it doesn't look like it's possible, at the minute, anyway. Is there the possibility of future comparability?

Thanks Mark, I can't help but think that defeats the purpose of the thing in the first place! Looks like I'll have to buy a pair of XDJ 1000s and a mixer then. Will it work with any of the newer DJM models, a 4 channel one, obviously...?

Yes, it can sync with all gear featuring an ethernet port except the XDJ-RX.

Pioneer please add sync support to rekordbox so folks with RZ's and RZX's (and more) can use their SP16 correctly.
