Hardware fail to connect. it says I need to update the drivers.

Have you updated the drivers? And the firmware? Which operating system are you using?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

AMD Athlon(tm) II P360 Dual-Core Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

4GB

64 bit operating system

FYI: AMD processors are not officially supported by Serato DJ.
