Someone else said they simply renamed it .WAV and were able to recover. I'm not familiar with this issue as I've never crashed rekordbox while recording.

Rekordbox Recording Crash
I was recording a mix and my computer crashed twice. Afterwards I found a .rbrec file and I was wondering if I can recover this file and turn it into audio file?

Make a VLC Media download for windows.
Open your file.rbrec with it and than.... CONVERT !
VERY EASY !!!
