Specifically which gear are you using and how do you have it configured / connected?

Can't record well through rekordbox with Nexus gear
In performance mode, I am having a hard time figuring out how to get my computer to both record and send audio through my mixer so I can hear it through my speakers while I record. If I can't hear what I'm doing then I can't do anything, so I really could use some help figuring this out!
It also appears that while in performance mode, I don't have access to my usual sort functions. I need to be able to access both my tag, and sort for my recordings.. it basically feels like I'm doing it the wrong way.

I have 3x CDJ Nxs 2s connected to a DJM 900nxs 2 via lan hub. I'm plugging a USB cord into the 900nxs 2, and attempting to record through performance mode in RB on my laptop. The speakers are connected to the 900 nxs 2 through xlr cables.
As far as configuration, I'm not completely sure. I usually just select the link function in export mode, since it gives me the experience I want (automatically updating the library as I prepare the track & letting me access my playlists + my tags on the cdj face screen). If I need to do other configuration, I'm completely ignorant to it
