Mac or PC?
Hi there,
I'm having an issue with my DDJ-SX2. It was working absolutely perfectly yesterday but today when I opened serato it wouldn't connect.
I have followed all the connection troubleshooting tips on the serato website and am at a loss as to what to do now.
I've tried two different MIDI/USB cables to no result. When I plug the controller in, the lights change, like it knows it has been plugged in. However, neither serato or rekordbox detect any sign of it.
I even downloaded the latest firmware version again, but when trying to run that I simply got a 'SX2 not connected' message. The controller did suffer some water damage about two months ago (nowhere near the MIDI port) which I managed to fix and it has been working with absolutely no issues since then up until tonight.
Any ideas where to go from here? Thanks.

Mac or PC?
Mac. Also worth saying that the FX 2 button on deck 4 is flashing when plugged into my mac.
@Alex > I had the same problem; try the other USB port - the data connection from that USB port is not communicating, either through a failed port or over-voltage issue which has shut-down the port.
Hi Pulse, do you mean another USB port on the controller or my MacBook? As I have tried all of the USB ports on my laptop, but the SX2 only has the one USB/MIDI port as far as I am aware...
Can you try a different computer?
Or USB cable?
