Probably UI Mouse Event Handling Bug introduced in 5.5

Hi, i had to revert to 5.4.3 on my MacBook Pro late 2011 with High Sierra because it's impossible for me in 5.5 to open pop-up Menu items with a simple trackpad click. The menu pop-ups appear and instantly disappear again, on some buttons/dropdown-list it's possible to circumvent the problem with a right click (two finger tap) instead of a left click. reverting to 5.4.3 and the problem is gone.

it seems that a click is registered two times and thus the menu is closed instantly again.

Can you tell me if you have it set for tap or click?

i have set it to tap, and already tried disabling it. But it looks like that there is a connection. If i tap the dropdown menu for
switching to export, performance and so on mode the dropdown list disappears instantly. If i click (press down trackpad) it stays. Different story with the burger menu button in export mode, this menu only works if i two-finger tap or two finger click.

Given that you're the first and only one to report this, I wonder if there's something else at play. Can you create a new (temporary) user profile on your system and see if this persists with that profile?

Sigh, FINALLY I found the source of this problem.

well, turns out that it's not a bug within rekordbox, the tool "PopClip" interferes with rekordbox starting with version 5.5. Switching off PopClip while using rekordbox and everything acts normal again.

turns out that another Accessibility third party tool causes the same problem. Those tools worked perfectly alongside rekordbox from day 1 to 5.4. I can reproduce the problem with PopClip on High Sierra and Mojave, so it's not Mac OS version dependent.
