I use rekordboxdj on my laptop. My library is stored on the harddisk of my laptop.
My friend also uses rekordboxdj but his library is stored on his protable HD.
Is there a way to connect his hd to my laptop so we can switch libraries during a gig (or connect both libraries at the same time) ?

Connecting two main libraries; no, but you could prepare an export library containing all of the contents of the internal library and then connect that export device to another rekordbox computer to load songs.
You can also switch libraries in the preferences, but the audio will stop playback when that occurs.

I figured out the export library but scrolling and searching works very slow (It looks like rekordbox almost crashes) i have tried this with different USB's and HD's. Is there anyway to solve this ?
Yes - use a faster hard drive or a higher spec computer.
