Switching between DDJ-1000 and DDJ-RZ

Hi, I have a DDJ-1000 and the place I have a gig at uses the DDJ-RZ.

Can I simply take my laptop with Rekordbox 5.8 and plug into the RZ and install a driver, to be up and running.

Will my hot cues work still on the RZ ?
