Using DDJ RX as standalone mixer

Hi, im just about to buy the DDJ RX, and wondered if anybody has used it as a standalone mixer? If so, any good, and does it allow the filters(not just the standard low/high pass filter) on the mixer to be used with separate cdjs?

The channel filters will work and the color effects when using CDJs.

For the LED on the channels, yes.

Does this mean they will not work when using vinyl turntables.

also, my brother has set his SZ so that ableton routes the master through channel 1 of the mixer. he can apply color fx and eqs to it. so i was wondering if i could do this with my RX

hey.. i just bought ddj 800. and they doesn't work at all.. i'm using with ableton. is there any something wrong?
