rb dj works absolutely fine on cdj400, you should always have your hw on the latest firmware in general ;-)

hi, I wanted to know how do I connect rekordbox to the CDJ 400 performance?
I need to update the software and firmware of the CDJ?

Sure, just don't update past v2.x.x unless you want Pioneer collecting personally-identifiable data on you and data mining your library for the PROs.
