XDJ RX2 won't connect to my mac
I've followed all the instructions downloaded the audio connection but it still doesn't show on the screen when you press reckordbox button.
could someone please help.

i've tried both nothing seems to go across, but if i remove the usb cable it knows its been disconnected

Ok, thanks - did you update the firmware, and did you install the USB LINK CONNECTION software?

yes to firmware 1.11 and did the USB link nothing shows as a problem the information is not either being sent from the mac or read by the rx2

Okay, so the USB link is to connect the XDJ-RX2 to rekordbox in EXPORT mode; you may also need to disable your firewall. You press the rekordbox button on the RX2 to enter that mode.
To get HID control, you press the MIDI button and then connect each deck by pressing the LOAD buttons.

thats now working it was the firewall, thanks so much and what a fantastic piece of kit the RX2 is love it

Glad to hear that was it! You can actually configure the firewall to allow it through - follow the instructions here, a bit of an outdated video, but still applicable.

sorry for hijacking this thread but i could not get Hands on a rx2 unit here in germany. would you test on your rx2 if moving waveforms are shown when you use the perf mode?
