DDJ-FLX6 getting no power, no lights or connection and its brand new

ive been going through every post on the internet for months and literally anything i try wont get this thing to connect, im at the point where ive hit a wall. i cant even get a single light on the board to appear please someone help, did i somehow get a fried board?
