@Nicholas > Are you manually calling up the hot cues on the player after you load the track?

I recently downloaded a pile of new tunes....filtered out the ones i like and applied cue points and loops to all of them. i have all 209 in a playlist and export it to my memory stick. When i access the files on my cdj 2000 there are 2 missing files and about half the tracks are missing the last 6 cues or so. i have tried really hard to trouble shoot my issue and am at a loss. I have tried exporting it in 5 40 track play lists. i have tried a different memory stick. and i also tried scanning them all with mp3val. several needed fixing but after format of stick and reexport of the play list i am still having the same problem. Please tell me of any suggestions you may have. I spent hours doing all of this and am trying to avoid having to go back find the specific tracks and recue them. I also want to add that when i go back to rekordbox and look at the same file i export all the points are there. i am perplexed by the whole thing as well as frustrated.
Thanks

I wasnt refering to hot cue points....just normal cues. the first 3 or 4 are there till i have a loop saved. then the rest of them aren't there. I do have one hot cue point set on each track however. those are all there.
@nicholas > When you load the track back into the rekordbox player does it show all the memory points?
what do you mean load it back into the player? do you mean import it from my memory stick? I just tried that and there are 0 memory points. otherwise tho if you mean look at it in my playlist in rekordbox all of my memory points are there in all 209 tracks.. But I was actually was wondering about importing tracks also.....i have rekordbox on an old comp of mine and want to import the tracks from another memory stick onto my current machine. When i import them none of the memory points are in any of those tracks. do you also know a solution to this problem?
@nicolas > You load the track in rekordbox, store memory points to it, load another track, go back to the first ... are all the memory points you previously stored being recalled?
You can't recall music from a USB device into a non-original-host rekordbox database, sorry.
yes i believe...after i put points in one, and move on to the next and go back they are all still there in rekordbox.. but for some reason they all dont show up on my player. .i loaded 400 tracks or so......went thru filtered out the ones ididnt feel i needed to use. then i applied all the memory points to all of the other tracks. My playlist in rekordbox is 209 tracks long and all have memory points in them. it is only when i go to my memory stick and see that i dont have all my saved points.
Is there a better way we can talk about my issue than this? can i call you? or live chat?
@nicolas > This is the best way, it allows us to have a record of the conversation and forward things along to the engineers.
After you applied the memory points, did you then export the tracks to the USB device or did they already exist on the device?
They didn't exist on the device..sandisk cruzer 32gb(brand new)...i have everything organized by playlist. I had a massive pile....1200 tunes.....as i filtered thru i just added them to another playlist. Then once I decided all the ones to add points to then become my 209 track list. After i added points to all of those 209 tracks I then exported the list to my memory stick.
In addition, i did try to export the list 3 or 4 times in different ways. I made 5 smaller play lists of 40 or so tracks, Using a different stick. i aslo made sure to Format the stick before I tried to reexport.
I take it that your playlist was created within the library and not on your device, correct?
Yes i made the playlist in rekordbox(not on the stick) and then exported the playlist to my memory stick. And i did just double check i did not make the playlist on my Memory stick. Is that how i should do it in the future? Make the playlist on the device and then add my cue/memory points to my track after i have exported them on. I really didnt even know i could make a playlist on my device.
I just looked at the playlist on my memory stick and the points are missing from the tracks that are listed in the playlist on my memory stick.
I do think i can prevent this from happening in the future. by adding the tracks to my memory stick first and then adding the points to the tracks that are already on the device. It seems that the points get lost in the export process somehow.
I just added some memory points to one of the tracks that was missing some. but instead this time i added them to the track that is already on the memory stick. This time it saved them.
So at this point i would really like to know if there is going to be a way to get it to export properly or am i going to have to do that with all of the tracks?
Wanted to add that the first time i have had issues with this. I have always exported my tracks in this way to my 3 different memory sticks. This was my largest crop of tracks by far....would that have anything to do with it?
You should be able to create the points on the songs within rekordbox, then export them with them attached. I wonder if it's something to do with the files themselves or the drive? Have you tried formatting the export device and re-exporting from scratch?
since you guys stopped responding to me i already just decided to add the points to the tracks on the drive already.....if you read my original post i included those things in there. i tried a different stick, tried formatting the brand new stick, i tried scanning and fixing the files and trying again also. So from now on i have a new method to make sure this doesnt happen again. Export the tracks to the drive...then add the memory points to the tracks that way they dont get lost in the export. Even though this is the first time i have had this problem. i used to export them after i added the points and never had any issues.
Also as i was going thru and adding them to the tracks again i did notice that every track that was missing memory points they were all saved until i saved a 8, 16, or 32 beat loop. after the loop all the memory points i had saved just dont export for some reason. it was like 50 out of the 209 tracks. It is a strange coincidence, all of the other tracks didnt have a saved loop in them but retained all of their memory points.
