[CLOSED] Rekordbox 2.0.3 available

Just had a quick play and it appears to be improved with the nexus quantizing but loops seem off..... more testing needed to confirm

Correction a problem displaying the waveform on CDJ-2000nexus with 1 frame shift during a performance with "PRO DJ LINK".

I'm assuming this is the issue where the grid markers are represented on the decks as too far forward on the waveform?

Do we need to reanalyse all tracks again?

Has the random crashing in rb stopped with this update?

I am re-analyzing all anyway being that with 2.0.2, the wrong bpm and wave would show up when i load a track

Thankfully I never had that problem! But I'm absolutely fed up with this substandard, seemingly untested software that's rolled out, for the money it's a joke and an embarrassment . Where this forum would be without you and others I don't know... The hardware has soo much potential, if only the software worked!

I agree, I feel "it's always something".... Like someone else posted, a new rb update usually just brings a few fixes and a slew of new bugs

I know this was an issue for me with 2.0.2 and still is with 2.0.3. Not sure if it is RB or my computer so I thought I would ask.

When I have a large amount of new tracks and I am trying to add artwork to each track, about 20 ish songs into it I can't add anymore until I restart RB or my computer. I'm not sure as I said if it is RB or memory issue with my CPU.

Its createds a probelm that wasnt there now it wont let me drop tracks on my aero. as soon as you do the decks icon dissappears and it it doesnt load. Why arent these things checked???? 6 months without being ablt to link it get it fixed with firmware update and now back to the same.

I'm a new user to rekordbox, and have used 2.0.2 for 1 week. I updated to 2.0.3 yesterday and everything seems to be ok. Do I need to analyze all the music again, and also, can I analyze the entire music library at once, or do I have to do each song individually?

At the top of the list hold down shift and select the first track and keep holding it as you scroll down to the bottom of the list and select the bottom track and that will select all tracks. let go of shift and right click on the highlighted tracks and analyze. That will get all done at once. However, I am not sure if it needs to be done so I'll let someone else chime in. Plus there may be an easier way to select all the tracks but that is what I do.

or you can just select all by hitting CTRL+A on pc and COMMAND+A on mac

Just got my USB formatted because the sh*tload of crashes every gig while playing , after that I updated rekordbox and now he doesn't recognize my USB anymore. How come ?

make sure it's not formatted NTFS, sometimes it defaults to that and RB won't read NTFS drives

Formatted exFAT so that's not the problem.

Do you use the mp3 val tool to check the mp3s before importing to rb. Never had an issue with crashing on the cdj 2000s mk1s since running tracks through it...

Do you have a FAT, FAT32 or HFS+ drive connected to your computer via USB? If so, it will appear under the Devices tab. Drag and drop your files from your collection to the device there.

Never ever had that problem before.

well i just tested a drive quick and it works fine on mine, formatted a 2gb drive, exFat and RB 2.0.3 picked it right up

maybe try rebooting everything, maybe RB is just hung up on something in the background and not looking for the drives

Has anyone analysed tracks again and noted any improvements to quantisation ?

I am letting all my tracks reanalyze so i can look tonight to see if it improved anything

also on the exFat thing,now it wont show up at all in rb so something is definitely up and maybe now its finally not supported?

Finally have the solution , typ in cmd prompt : 'format /fs:FAT32 x:' (change x into the letter of the drive) and that will do.

stick with fat32 things will be all good!

The problem is that Windows can't format a 64 GB or more drive into a FAT32.

Surely it can using that hp formatting utility recommended by pulse...

yep use the hp utility or go get a mac lol

why on earth windows pcs cant format to their old fat32 format is madness!

Please add the option to create crates.
