[SOLVED] DDJ SX Issues with Pads

I have the DDJ SX Controller and recently updated to the latest firmware. And last night I played in the club and I was playing a song on the left Turntable or joggle and I was simply letting the song (had it in Hot Cue Button highlighted while song was playing) play then all of a sudden without me even touching the pads the song started going back to some of the hot cues that was program on that song. All by itself without me touching the pads at all. So I put it in Sample mode and it stop skipping.

Then I put it in Slicer mode or Hot Cue Mode, Roll Mode it continues to do them by itself (like I was touching the pad)

It doesn't do it on the right turntable only the left one. When I put it in Sampler mode it seemed to stop. How can I fix this from happening?  This just started happening, and I cannot stop it? What do I do? I have the latest Serato DJ and firmware. I did have another MiDi player on there and removed it and I still have the same issue. What do I do?

how sensitive do those pads seem if you brush on the lightly? Maybe they are faulty and the bass is triggering them? May not be a FW issue but mor a hardware issue

The DJ booth  kind of  closed in with monitors and I and can control the bass levels easily, but I have been using this since April and the issue just started a week ago. Pioneer told remove other MIDI players but that didn't work. This problem is occasional not all the time but is it still a big issue for me.

I don't think vibration is the issue. I believe the pads are  capacitive sensing. I would concentrate my effort on "grounding" issues, and then re-flashing the firmware

I think only the job wheels are capacitive sensing, the pads are pressure sensitive, if its a faulty pad too close to a contact, simple vibrations can cause the pad to touch the contact but Cavon ruled vibration out anyway

Someone told me to reset it back to manufacturer firmware software settings then reload the latest firmware. The reanalyzes my files on Serato DJ

But I don ot know how to reset it back to th eoriginal firmware, do you all? If so how?

@Cavon > Please try re-flashing the firmware by going here: http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?c=1483&lang=en&p=DDJ-SX&t=179

The instructions are fairly simple - press and hold the SHIFT and SYNC buttons on the LEFT deck when powering it up - load the update software with the SX connected to your computer and you can update from there.

I'm leaving this thread open - please let us know if the flash helps.

Hello guys it was resolved I had a discussion on Serato.cm as eel and it turns out that by deleting Serato DJ software off my computer (my Mac Book Pro) completely and then reinstalling software worked and reinstalling flashing he firmware seem to have fixed the problem. But had done both so I am  not sure which one worked. I also reanalyze all my files in my master library afterwards. This solved the problem....Thank you all you guys that tried to help me  really appreciate that.
