DDJ-SZ Firmware 1.18 - cannot update
Controller is stuck on Firmware 1.12
Settings Utility and driver seem to work but no matter how I try to update it keeps coming back with "No Controller Attached"
I have tried MacBook Pro 15" (2012 model, USB3), Mac Mini (2011 model, USB2) both with OS X 10.9.3, and windows 7 pro on a PC, both A&B USB ports on the unit and different USB cables.
Any ideas?

Wait, you DID follow the instructions (http://pioneerdj.com/support/files/img/DDJ-SZ_update_manual_e_v101.pdf) to put it into firmware update mode, right? You need to press and hold the SYNC and SHIFT buttons on the left deck when powering-up the SZ.
